Retinal is a potent active, so introduce it gradually.

After cleansing, allow your skin to dry completely. Apply a pea-sized amount evenly over the face, avoiding the immediate eye area, lips and irritated or damaged skin. Follow with a barrier-supporting moisturizer.

Beginners: Start 2 nights per week for the first 2 weeks. If well tolerated, gradually increase to alternate nights and then more frequently as your skin adjusts.
